I received my order a couple of weeks before Xmas and I have to say that their CS and PACKAGING is EXCELLENT and this is the fastest order I have ever gotten--just 10 days!!! I'm in Sydney and parcels usually take 1 1/2 to 3 weeks to get here although I have waited for as long as 3 months for an order, lol! Very impressed with their TAT, it shipped the very next day if I'm not mistaken =)
I also found out that BI also ships PERFUME--yes, they ship alcohol-based perfume internationally(finally!) using a special courier, it'll set you back US$60 and get to you in 2 days(worldwide).
Anyway, here are my thoughts on what i got:
BODY MISTS 2oz
***SHAMPURE Aveda Type***SITE DESCRIPTION:This earthy scent captures the aroma of soft rose petals surrounded by jasmine, lavender, ylang ylang, and bergamot on a background of exotic patchouli.
MY TAKE: This is an AMAZING dupe of my beloved Shampure! It has all the complex notes of the original--which is a feat considering the original has 25 pure plant & flower essences! Scent Intensity: SUPER STRONG...maybe a tad bit too strong--but great as a hair mist! =)
***CLEAN for MEN Type***SITE DESCRIPTION:This outstanding scent for men is just extraordinary. It smells like, well, like, it smells clean... but in a delicious soapy-fruity way. With ruby red grapefruit, English lavender, wild raspberry, clove, lime, olibanum, patchouli, and musk.
MY TAKE:VERY CLOSE dupe...not exact but it has most of the same notes as the origInal. DH LOVES the fresh, clean, slightly sweet, soapy smell of this. Reorder. Scent Intensity: STRONG =)
***COMFORT***SITE DESCRIPTION: Be content with this satisfying scent. A warm wash of well-being soothes you with oatmeal, steamed milk, a touch of clover honey and a kiss of musk.
MY TAKE: I love Oatmeal Milk & Honey but I could not detect even the tiniest bit of OMH. All I smell is Musk and a base scent. Unfortunately a miss =(
***LEA Type***SITE DESCRIPTION:(Our version of Lea St. Barth) Musk, vanilla and almond combine for a soft and comforting scent. Like baby powder for adults-- comfy, cozy, but sexy as all get out. It invites nuzzling. It's also a perfect scent to wear just to make you feel happy and warm on a rainy day.
MY TAKE: Slightly sweet, very musky and powdery. To me, this smells similar to BBW Breathe Comfort--which I am not fond of. I don't smell the almonds or a distinct vanilla anywhere. Not anything close to what I was imagining it to be(I was hoping this would be similar to JOUR de FETE which is pure sweet almond and vanilla) =(
***LEA X Type***SITE DESCRIPTION:Musk, vanilla and almond combine for a comforting scent (like Lea) but more intense and with a light chocolate note.
MY TAKE: I smell LEA(see above) but with a generous portion of Cocoa Powder(not sweet milk chocolate) and a tiny bit of powdered almond added. More gourmand than foodie.I like it better than LEA. =I
***VELVET SNOW***SITE DESCRIPTION:This is what the snow would smell like up at the magical North Pole. Creamy, velvety vanilla with the slightest kiss of almond.
MY TAKE: I smell white candy coated almonds--like the type they have at weddings. Light in intensity, sweet and sugary...such a pretty scent =)

MY TAKE:I smell a distinct buttery note and sweet almonds(very similar to the almond in
VELVET SNOW--the candied kind). I don't smell cherry in this...just a sweet, buttery almond scent--reminds me of Suds and Lights White Cake but without the "cake." =)
*LOTION SAMPLES*--The lotion formula is great! Thick, rich and moisturizing--almost feels like a cream! Non-sticky and left my skin nice and smooth.
***LEA***--Oh my, this is so MUCH BETTER than the body mist--now I can detect the Almond as a top note!!! Yay!
***COMFORT***--Smells just like the mist, see above.
***THE LOST***--A "Headshoppy" kind of scent. Very complex and intriguing in the way the scent morphs...sweet and incensey.
***SAGE & LEMONGRASS***--Herbaceous and fresh, I can smell notes of fresh grass, cucumber and a mellow citrus.
***Santa's Sundae***--I smell gingerbread and sweet creamy eggnog
***PLUMBERRY SPICE***--Slightly Fruity and spicy at the same time...leaning more on spicy.
***SNOWCONE***--This smells like the fruity syrups they pour on snow cones...this one smells like a not too sweet and candylike blueberry syrup.
